In short: when you request a quote, you send us health data (photographs of your smile, panoramic X-ray). This data is sensitive. We only process it with your explicit consent, solely to prepare your quote, and you may request its deletion at any time.

2. What data we collect
2.1 Data you provide to us
- Identification and contact data: surname, first name, email address, telephone number, country of residence.
- Data relating to your request: desired treatment, description of your dental situation, free-text message.
- Health data: photographs of your smile, panoramic dental X-ray and any clinical information you choose to send us. This data falls within the special categories within the meaning of Article 9 of the GDPR.
2.2 Data collected automatically
Browsing data (pages viewed, referral source, device type, aggregated traffic data) is collected for audience measurement purposes. See section 8 on cookies.
3. Why we process this data
- To prepare a personalised dental quote and reply to you.
- To organise your treatment and your stay if you decide to proceed.
- To follow up on your request and on our exchanges with you.
- To measure the audience of the site and improve its content.
Your health data is used only for the preliminary clinical assessment and for preparing the quote. It is never used for advertising purposes, nor sold, nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
4. On what legal basis
- Health data: your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a) of the GDPR). You give it by ticking the box provided for this purpose before submitting the form. You may withdraw it at any time.
- Contact and request data: the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).
- Audience measurement: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).
5. Who has access to your data
- The authorised staff of Almaz Care, responsible for handling your request.
- The practitioners of the dental facility in Tunis, when examination of your photographs or your X-ray is necessary in order to prepare the quote.
- FormSubmit, the technical provider that routes the site's forms to our mailbox, acting as a processor.
We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Your data is transferred to Tunisia (handling of your request and clinical assessment) and to the United States (technical routing of the forms by FormSubmit). These countries do not benefit from an adequacy decision of the European Commission covering this processing.
These transfers are based on your explicit and informed consent, given in full knowledge of the risks, in accordance with Article 49(1)(a) of the GDPR. If you do not wish your data to be transferred outside the European Union, do not submit a form and contact us by telephone.
7. How long we keep it
- Health data (photographs, X-rays): 12 months from your last contact if you do not proceed. Deleted earlier on simple request.
- Contact data of a prospective patient: 3 years from the last contact.
- File of a patient actually treated: the period required by the obligations applicable to the care facility.
- Audience measurement data: 13 months maximum.
8. Cookies and audience measurement
This site uses audience measurement tools (Google Analytics 4, Matomo, Umami) in order to understand how it is visited. Their scripts are loaded in a deferred manner, after the page has displayed, in order to limit their impact on performance.
These tools place measurement identifiers on your device. You can delete them and prevent them from being set from your browser settings, or by means of a tracker-blocking extension. You may also write to us for any request relating to this data.
9. Security
The site is served entirely over HTTPS. Access to the requests received is restricted to authorised persons. We recommend that you send us only the documents strictly necessary for assessing your situation.
10. Your rights
You have the following rights over your data:
- Access: obtain a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification: have inaccurate data corrected.
- Erasure: request the deletion of your data, in particular your photographs and X-rays.
- Restriction of and objection to processing.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured format.
- Withdrawal of consent at any time, without this calling into question the lawfulness of the processing already carried out.
To exercise these rights, write to contact@cliniquedentairetunisie.fr. We reply within one month.
If you reside in the European Union or the United Kingdom and consider that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your country - in the United Kingdom, the ICO; in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission. If you reside in Tunisia, you may refer the matter to the Instance Nationale de Protection des Données Personnelles (INPDP).
